40ft One-Trip Tunnel Shipping Container — Double End Doors
A 40ft one-trip tunnel container with cargo doors at both ends, allowing drive-through access from one end to the other. The double-ended configuration suits pass-through loading, long-form cargo that will not fit end-loaded, and modification builds needing entry and exit points on opposite walls. Standard 8’6″ external height. Built to ISO 668 Series 1 dimensional standards.
Why a Tunnel Container
Tunnel (also known as “double door” or “Duocon”) containers open at both ends, so freight can be loaded from one side and unloaded from the other without turning inside the container. Common uses include drive-in vehicle and machinery storage, long-load timber and pipe handling, and modification into pop-up buildings, workshops, or retail units needing dual-facing access. For fleet or yard operations, drive-through access removes the reversing and repositioning that end-door units require.

Placement Note
Level ground placement is important for double-door containers — both end doors need to swing and seal correctly. Compacted gravel, concrete pads, or container feet are recommended for long-term siting. Browse the full range of container accessories for placement hardware.
